Fischer Skis US, LLC has restructured its Alpine division in the wake of the departure of National Sales Manager Erik Anderson, who joined the company in 2007.

Discussions took place two weeks ago at the US headquarters in Auburn, NH with the top level management from its parent company, Fischer Sports GmbH (Ried, AUT). The decision was made to start the search immediately for a new Alpine national sales manager to work out of the home office in NH.

Matt Berkowitz, director of Alpine marketing and product, who has been with the company since 2003, is taking over some of Anderson’s responsibilities so the new Alpine sales manager can focus on increasing sales and market share for the brand by working closely with the sales force and retailers.

Both Chris Smith and Pearson Neal were also recently promoted. Smith will continue to work out of Park City, UT with the title of promotions and product development, while Neal will continue to work out of the NH office as the National alpine race coordinator.

“This new structure makes the most sense for the brand, especially with the momentum we have right now with our Vacuum Boot Technology,” said Berkowitz. “I’m also excited to be working closer with Chris and Pearson moving forward. They bring a lot to the table for the brand as they both possess a diverse set of skills and a deep passion for the wintersports industry.”
