Finish Line announced that Terry Ledbetter has been appointed chief information officer (CIO), effective April 14. He comes to Finish Line from Dick's Sporting Goods, where he served as vice president, information technology.
He reports to president and chief operating officer Steve Schneider.
Prior to Dick's he was a manager consultant with Cap Gemini for three years, where he collaborated with several major retail clients to achieve their strategic technology goals. Ledbetter's professional career began in 1994 with SMC Pneumatics, where he served as Director, IT Project Office and Operations, until joining Cap Gemini.
At Finish Line, Ledbetter will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's information systems strategy, which supports more than 600 stores as well as a fast-growing e-commerce business. He will lead the IT team as it continues to drive key initiatives designed to maintain a competitive edge and enhance Finish Line's ability to connect with and serve customers through technology and innovation.

Ledbetter earned Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute and is a graduate of Capella University in Minneapolis, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration.
