Fila will make the company’s runway debut at Milan Fashion Week in September in the company’s first appearance at one of fashion’s top events, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Fila will also inaugurate an exhibition at the Triennale Design Museum, opening on September 19. The report also noted that the brand has hired former Adidas Originals designers Antonino Ingrasciotta and Joseph Graesel as creative directors.
“Their background perfectly matches sports and fashion,” said Fila Global chairman Gene Yoo in a statement to WWD. “Starting from the Fila archive, they’re working on a collection that aims to bring the brand to the next level, connecting the past with its future.”
