Steve Wynne, 51, has been named President and CEO of SBI International, Ltd. He was formerly President/CEO of Adidas America, Inc. Wynne will assume global responsibility for all operating companies including Fila and Ciesse Piumini.

While at Adidas, Wynne was responsible for reinvigorating the brand in the American and Canadian markets. Some of his most notable accomplishments include, the development and execution of a successful brand strategy as well the development of strategic relationships with major sports leagues including the NFL, NBA and MLB.

In his new position, Wynne will be responsible for continuing the revitalization of the Fila brand that began when SBI assumed control of the company in June 2003.

Joining Steve Wynne in his new role at SBI is his former colleague at Adidas, Robert Erb. Erb, 45, while at Adidas, was the Director of Sports Marketing under Wynne and was an important part of implementing the company’s vision.

Erb was most recently Executive Vice President of Global Marketing at Taylor Made – Adidas Golf Company and President of the Adidas Golf Division. He will join SBI as the new Chief Marketing Officer.
While at Taylor Made, Erb was responsible for spearheading an effort that has led to revenue growth of almost 200% during his tenure at the company.

Mr. Wynne and Mr. Erb will work out of the New York office of SBI.
