Korea-based Fila Holdings named Todd Klein as president of its North American subsidiary Fila USA, Inc, following the retirement of Jennifer Estabrook.

The company noted that Klein’s hire aims to elevate the brands “equity in line with the group’s goals for the North American region under its five-year global strategy, ‘Winning Together.'”

The strategy, first announced in February 2022, is intended to “unify products and marketing worldwide by redefining brand value, building its customer experience business model and sustainable growth.”

“Todd is the ideal choice to lead Fila USA as the group proceeds with our five-year global strategy, cementing Fila as a consistent premium lifestyle sports brand driven by sustainable growth,” said Keun-Chang Yoon, president and CEO, Fila Holdings. “He has an innovative and inclusive business leadership background with a proven track record of turning consumer insights into commercial opportunities that create sustainable growth.”

Klein has overseen multiple categories and geographies since he started working for Adidas America in the 1990s. He joins Fila USA from his most recent position as Adidas Group’s VP of advanced concepts. Before that, he directed sports apparel and footwear divisions for Fila in the U.S. and Germany.

He brings a strong sales and marketing background to the position, with a successful transition as global sports marketing director for Reebok from 2004 to 2009.

“I am excited to join the Fila team,” said Klein. “Fila is an iconic sports brand with a strong foundation in performance and style. We will continue to build an inclusive environment that fuels the drive, creativity and future of our people. I am looking forward to working with the Fila team to unleash the full potential of the brand and athlete experience.”

Estabrook became president of Fila North America in 2019, succeeding Jon Epstein, who passed away suddenly. Estabrook joined Fila in 2005 as vice president and legal/global general counsel with her other roles, including COO.
