Sport Brands International has named Fila USA's current SVP Marketing, Howe Burch to SVP Global Communications and Sports Marketing for Fila.

In his new role, Mr. Burch will develop and oversee an integrated global marketing communications and sports marketing plan for Fila including brand strategy, marketing research, advertising and public relations, key account marketing and athlete, event and grass-roots
sponsorship.

Mr. Burch has been at Fila USA for over 10 years. During his time
with the company, he has held various marketing communications and
sports marketing positions in which he has developed and implemented
major product merchandising and marketing programs around
world-renowned athletes including Grant Hill, Jennifer Capriati and
Barry Bonds.

In addition, he has managed sponsorship and licensing agreements
with the NBA, the ATP Tennis Tour, the United States Tennis
Association and numerous other sports franchises and governing bodies.

Since joining Fila, Mr. Burch has been recognized by Advertising
Age as one of its Top 100 Marketers of the Year.

Prior to joining Fila, Mr. Burch spent 12 years at Doner
Advertising in Baltimore. As SVP/Group Account Director, he managed
advertising and promotion activity for a variety of the agency's
consumer products and retail clients including Con Agra Healthy
Choice, Black & Decker and Ford Motor Company.

An avid runner and surfer, Mr. Burch currently resides in
Baltimore, Md. with his wife and three children. He will continue to
be based out of Fila's Sparks, Md. office.
