Fila Holdings Corp. appointed Fila USA President Todd Klein to take on the newly created role of global brand president, reporting to Fila Holdings. He also joins the board of Fila Luxembourg, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fila Holdings that oversees Fila’s global trademark in all markets except PRC, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR territories. 

In addition to his existing responsibilities, Klein is also responsible for the overall operations of the Fila brand, including global product and marketing strategies. The company said Klein brings “visionary leadership, extensive industry experience and an intimate understanding of the Fila brand and organization. 

Klein joined Fila USA as president in January 2023 with over 30 years of experience, overseeing diverse teams across numerous markets and regions, including introducing products as Adidas Group’s VP of Advanced Concepts and leading double-digit sustainable growth while directing sports apparel and footwear divisions in the U.S. and Germany. Klein also reportedly steered the rebranding of Reebok as its global sports marketing director.

This new structure marks a milestone in Fila’s 113-year history. 

In 2022, Fila announced a five-year “Winning Together” strategy plan to become the “leading authentic sports brand inspired by the style, elegance and passion of its Italian heritage.” Introducing the role of global brand president “is intended to unify and enhance Fila’s global brand and presence and foster a cohesive and superior consumer experience while continuing to invest in accelerating innovation,” said the company in a release.
