Field Logic, the maker of The Block targets and Rage expandable broadheads, has promoted Jim Held to media planner. In this new position, Held will be responsible for evaluating and placing print, broadcast and Internet advertising opportunities for all company brands. He will also be responsible for coordinating internal employee communications and assisting with trade shows. He will report directly to company Executive Vice President and CMO Mike Weinkauf.
“Jim is a great addition to the marketing team,” said Weinkauf. “He knows the products inside and out, and he has the motivation and experience to move us forward. As the company grows, we want to see the employees grow with us.”
Prior to this promotion Held worked in corporate sales at Field Logic for three years where he was responsible for key accounts, dealers and all tradeshows. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, he has more than 30 years of sales experience. He and his family reside in the Duluth area.
