Perry Ellis International, Inc. announced the selection of chairman and CEO George Feldenkreis for induction into the South Florida Business Hall of Fame on Sept. 22. The Business Hall of Fame recognizes businessmen and women who have contributed significantly to their industries and communities.

“My father's lifelong experience as an entrepreneur has helped build Perry Ellis International into the almost $1 billion company we are today,” said Oscar Feldenkreis, vice-chairman, president, and COO of Perry Ellis International. “My father's passion for work, his vision, and his leadership leaves a lasting impression on all those who work for him or with him.”

Fanny Hanono, secretary and treasurer of Perry Ellis International said, “My father always taught us the importance of charity and giving back to the community. I admire him for his desire to improve the community and make the world a better place.”

The South Florida Business Hall of Fame is sponsored by the Florida Council on Economic Education, a non-profit organization that strives to expand educational opportunities statewide.
