Feelfree US, LLC opened a new regional distribution center in Diamond Springs, CA, to meet consumer demand in the West Coast region.
The Feelfree distribution center, located outside of Sacramento, will serve as the central distribution hub west of the Rockies for various paddlesports brands, including Feelfree Kayaks, 3 Waters Kayaks, Seastream Kayaks, and Jonny Boats. The center will allow dealers and outfitters better access to inventory to improve operational and merchandising.
The center is optimized for inbound and outbound deliveries and in-person pick-ups, allowing dealers to meet budgets, locale and supply needs. Feelfree US also plans to implement regional deliveries for smaller fill-in orders. The center will also serve as a showroom for new and established dealers, outfitters and partners to educate themselves on the product lineup.
“Over the years, it was becoming more apparent that we needed to establish distribution operations on the West Coast,” said owner Jim Hager. “Our multi-year analysis of inbound web traffic, dealer inquiries and general consumer demand painted a clear picture for us; the timing couldn’t have been better.”
Feelfree US Director of Marketing Roland Jimenez added, “Our Diamond Spring distribution center will allow dealers to take advantage of a broader range of merchandise, lower shipping costs, immediate restocking capabilities, and a general increase in brand awareness as we increase our presence on the West Coast.”
The Diamond Springs, CA distribution center is Feelfree’s fourth center. Feelfree maintains its headquarters and a distribution center in Asheville, NC, with two micro-distribution centers in Texas and Florida. Feelfree US has increased its total warehouse space with the Diamond Springs warehouse to over 40,000 square feet.
