The Footwear Distributors & Retailers of America (FDRA) promoted Thomas Crockett to VP, government affairs. Crockett has served the last six years as director, government & regulatory affairs. He is currently responsible for managing FDRA’s advocacy on issues impacting the footwear industry including U.S. international trade policy, global trade barriers, customs, intellectual property protection, and product safety.

“During these tumultuous times in our Nation’s history as it relates to trade, Thomas has been a guiding force for our membership and the industry as a whole,” stated Mike Jeppesen, FDRA chairman and president of the global operations group at Wolverine Worldwide. “His expertise, professionalism and work ethic have been vitally important to the overall health of our industry, and I can’t think of a better guy to assume the role of vice president, government relations for FDRA.”

FDRA president and CEO Matt Priest added “Thomas is so foundational to the success of FDRA meeting its mandate to serve the industry in every way we can.
