Fanatics hired Orlando Ashford for the newly created chief people officer (CPO) role at Fanatics Holdings working closely with the company’s three businesses—commerce, collectibles and betting and gaming while managing global human resources.
Ashford has held senior-level HR roles with Fortune 500 companies, including Marsh & McLennan Companies, The Coca-Cola Company and Motorola, Inc., before expanding his responsibilities beyond HR to become president of the Holland America Line.
In addition to directly overseeing HR within Fanatics Holdings, Orlando has a dual reporting role to Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin for matters including culture, talent development, corporate communications, corporate social responsibility, and DEI, and Fanatics CFO Glenn H. Schiffman on matters including total rewards and HR infrastructure, strategy, policies, and operations.
