The Finnish sports equipment distributor Exel Sports Oy has signed an agreement with the Swedish Floorball Federation and Seger United AB with regard to Exel Sports being the main sponsor of the Floorball World Championships to be organized in Stockholm, Sweden at the Globen Arena in 2006.
Exel Sports sees the sponsorship as a step to further strengthen its leading position in the international floorball market. “Sponsoring the World Championships is a large investment for us marketing-wise. We also want to continue to play a major role in developing the sport further by opening new markets”, Mr. Mika Sulin, Managing Director of Exel Sports, says.
“Exel Sports is a new partner for the Swedish Flooball Federation”, Mr. Per Jansson, Chairman of Central Board of the Swedish Floorball Federation, says. “Exel has solid experience in developing floorball equipment. We are very happy to start co-operation with this leading floorball brand distributor. The next World Championships to be organized next year will be the largest ever, and Exel Sports has decided to invest in the event to the full”, he adds.
Mens Floorball World Championships will be organized from 20 to 27 May 2006 in Stockholm, Sweden at the Globen Arena.
