Eventbaxx, which provides digital goodie bags for events, is opening an office in San Francisco, CA, to increase the company’s presence in the U.S. market.

Starting from August 21, Eventbaxx co-founder Marc Grewenig will be in Silicon Valley to make the innovative digital race bag technology available to all endurance races, conferences and exhibitions in that region.

Since Eventbaxx entered the U.S. market in 2018, several small-to-large races in the U.S. have started using the technology to improve their participants’ race experience and renounce on polluting flyers and print materials. An integration with the event management and registration platforms RunSignUp and Eventbrite further allows mutual customers to easily sync participants from one system to the other to efficiently distribute digital goodie bags to all participants.

With existing offices in Saarbrücken, Berlin and Istanbul, Eventbaxx will build its fourth site in California now.

“We are already working with many renowned races in the European region, but did not want to miss out on the huge potential that we see in the U.S. market,” Grewenig said. “The great response to the marketing activities we started this year fostered our idea to open an office in the U.S. I am sure that we have found the perfect location, and will help many races and events to prepare themselves for a digital future.”
