ERGO, the surf and skate apparel manufacturer, said Kyle Holmes has joined its team as design director. Holmes, an industry veteran, boasts a strong and multi-faceted
background designing across virtually every category of apparel at
well-respected brands including: Volcom, Billabong, Rusty, Split, West
and HIC.
“We're excited to have Kyle onboard along with his amazing vision for our brand's future,” says ERGO vice president, Pete DiSpirito. “We know that he will assist in maintaining ERGO's momentum while taking over the artistic look of the apparel, at the same time working with the sales department to create the best product for retailers and with our team riders to ensure ideal fit and technical details.”
“I started out as a tee-shirt artist and have since done just about everything, but mostly I prefer to make trunks and denim, which is what ERGO does best, so it's a perfect fit,” says Holmes. “We plan to build upon the categories already key for ERGO while slowly adding new categories – we have a solid foundation which we are going to grow as organically as possible.”
