Epoch Lacrosse announced the launch of Factory Set-up, which enables players to choose complete custom sticks based on their playing style.
Players will now be able to build a stick by selecting from a Dragonfly Gen.6 C30 in a mid-flex iQ5 or soft Flex iQ9 or C60 for poles shaft, a Hawk Sequel or Prequel head and finish it off with a custom strung pocket by Mainely Mesh. Epoch Factory Set-Up sticks will be available exclusively through authorized Epoch retailers and will begin shipping by August.

“The goal of our Factory Set-Up program is pretty straightforward,” said James Miceli, principal and founder of Epoch Lacrosse. “We wanted to make it easier for players to pick up a stick that will help them perfect their game without having to make any adjustments to their stick.”
Each Factory Set-Up is designed to fit a unique style of the individual player. They will feature the company’s popular “C” geometry in both 30- and 60-inch lengths. The C30 will be offered in Epoch’s classic Flex iQ’s of 5 and 9 and the C60 will come in Epoch’s staunch Flex iQ8. The sticks with either a Hawk Sequel or Prequel head will exclusively use Otter Mesh so players can keep playing the way they want to and not how the weather dictates.
Epoch’s engineers worked with Chris Burke of Mainely Mesh fame to develop a pocket designed to maximize the sweet spot of the Prequel or Sequel. They also developed a process that was repeatable to ensure consistency from pocket to pocket. Burke said, “We are very excited to offer pockets that are strung in America by real lacrosse players who understand the nuances of the game and tying up a head.”
