Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO), creators of camping hammocks and innovative outdoor accessories, has joined 1% for the Planet, pledging to donate 1% of annual sales to support nonprofit organizations focused on the environment.

“At ENO’s very core is the belief in the conservation and preservation of our wild places. We are excited
to join the 1% network and work with other member companies to be a driving force for positive
environmental change. This partnership will be an extension of the giving back that we have been
committed to for almost two decades.” said Amy Allison, who manages Corporate Giving for ENO.

Members of 1% for the Planet contribute one percent of annual sales directly to any of the approved
nonprofit environmental organizations in the network. Nonprofits are approved based on referrals, track
record and environmental focus. Thousands of nonprofits worldwide are currently approved.

“Our member companies have donated more than $175 million to our environmental nonprofit partners
to date. Currently, only 3% of total philanthropy goes to the environment and only 3% of that comes
from businesses. The planet needs bigger support than this, and our growing network of member
businesses is doing its valuable part to increase giving and support on the ground outcomes. Our
members lead with purpose and commitment, characteristics that consumers support. We’re excited to
welcome ENO to our global network,” said Kate Williams, CEO of 1% for the Planet.

“When we are not in the office, we are outdoors hiking, biking, boating, skiing, running, surfing and
afterwards, relaxing in a hammock,” said Allison. “Giving back to the planet that feeds our souls is a
natural part of the ENO ethos. We are proud to become members of 1% for the Planet, to help leave
the environment in an even better place for future generation.”
