EMU Australia will be taking over pan-European operations under the newly formed EMU Ridge Europe Gmbh. EMU Ridge Europe Gmbh will be headquartered in Hamburg, Germany as a wholly owned subsidiary of EMU Ridge Australia PTY LTD Aussie Corp. to market and distribute EMU product throughout Continental Europe and the U.K. with the exception of Spain and Italy. The globally distributed brand currently has headquarters in Geelong, Australia, San Clemente, California, Ontario, Canada and Hamburg, Germany.
EMU Ridge Europe Gmbh will unveil the EMU Spring 2005 collection under the new European moniker at the GDS Show in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“EMU has enjoyed incredible growth in the European market over the last 12 months and our new headquarters will allow us to continue this expansion based on our successful, vertical business model,” said Greg Licht, president of EMU Ridge Australia, Inc.
EMU Ridge Europe Gmbh will be led by EMUs new European Managing Director Stefan Dongus who will work directly in conjunction with the companys U.S. headquarters. Kersten Pakter will continue to lead all facets of European brand management, marketing and promotion.
