After attracting more than 700 people to seven paddle demo events in six states, Eastern Mountain Sports Inc announced the final dates and locations for its spring Outdoor Demo Tour.
The New Hampshire based outdoor speciatly retailer will hold paddle demo days in East Greenwich, RI, Hingham, MA and Nottingham and Hanover, NH in the coming two weeks. The free events will feature a fleet of kayaks and stand up paddleboards that attendees can try with the guidance and advice of trained experts.
“The Outdoor Demo Tour is all about bringing the latest paddling and camping gear out of our stores and into local communities,” explained Ted Manning, Executive Vice President at Eastern Mountain Sports.We want our customers to know exactly how a product performs in the field, so they can buy with even more confidence. It’s not only been a great experience for the people who come out to play, but for our staff as well.”
Since May 7, over 700 people have participated in outdoor demo days in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut and New York.
“The stand up paddleboards have been the most popular demo products by far,” said Tim Peck, demo driver and manager of the Eastern Mountain Sports in Marlborough, Massachusetts. “SUP combines the excitement of surfing with the power and efficiency of kayaking into one really unique, totally enjoyable sport. It’s a fantastic workout, too.”
