Wayne Elsey has resigned from Footwear Specialties International after a five year stint as President and CEO. FSI is the parent company to Nautilus, SkidBuster and Third Watch Footwear. “The company and people are poised for positive growth in the industry and marketplace. I am leaving to focus on my family and new business ventures,” Elsey said.

FSI has grown over 400% during Elsey's tenure, with several key acquisitions of brands and the revamped landscape he paved for the company. “I had a lot of fun at FSI and have enjoyed the team, customers, and watching the brands evolve into market leaders. I will stay involved as a modest shareholder and will completely support the new management and shareholders in the execution of their strategy,” he added.

Under Elsey's tenure, Nautilus Safety Footwear has become a recognized leader in athletic, ergonomically-designed safety footwear. “Nautilus Safety Footwear is hot and the demand is very strong. The brand is uniquely positioned in the marketplace to rapidly capture market share over the next few years,” Elsey said.
