Fischer Skis US LLC stated it will assume distributorship of fellow Austrian brand Eisbär, the headwear manufacturer. “We’re thrilled to pair with Eisbär,” said newly named Eisbär U.S. Brand Manager Kathryn Leach. “As a heritage brand in the headwear space with deep ties to skiing, it’s a perfect compliment to the work being done at Fischer Skis US LLC.
Fischer recently opened a Salt Lake City showroom to add western support to their longstanding New Hampshire headquarters. Eisbär will retain its current rep force. “Taking Eisbär under our umbrella is an easy step for Fischer,” said Fischer Skis U.S. president Ryan Leach. “This is a culturally aligned brand with a great product and that’s a winning combination.”
Eisbär will look to Olympic teams wearing their product for a marketing boost during this season as well as fashion-forward designs that reach outside of skiing to garner new customers.
