For the winter 2005/06 season, Eider will add three new lines of apparel designed for snowsports enthusiasts, a new line of base layer garments, an expansion to its technical GRAVICAL rock climbing apparel line to include winter styles, and a new backpack designed for adventure racing.

The three new apparel lines from Eider are the Wide Angle collection, the All Mountain collection, and the Indie Ride Collection. The Wide Angle collection features the Yael, a men’s Softshell jacket with Gore Tex Softshell Cantania. The All Mountain collection for women features the Oxane, a two-layer Gore Tex jacket with Gore Tex XCR Viper Stretch and Gore Tex XCR Beacon, the Zinda, a two layer blouson-style women’s jacket with two layer Defender Stretch, the Hydra, a women’s two-layer jacket with Defender stretch and Defender Venturer fabric, and the Loftroad, a women’s softshell jacket built with Windefender Softshell Highloftt. The Indie Ride collection includes the XD JACKET, Men’s Defender jacket; DJIDA, Women’s Defender jacket; and ZEAS, Women’s Defender 2-layer pants.

For 2005/06 a new winter line has been added to the Gravical collection. The women’s’ collection has the graphic influence of the Seventies: very sharp colors and prints. The men’s’ collection has bottoms in stretch cotton and canvas cotton fabrics with full and comfortable cuts. The Zimou is the lead item in this collection, a women’s fleece jacket made with Stretch Velvet fabric.

Eider’s pack collection, called Trail Adventure, features its newest product, the Extreme Runner, a pack designed for and by adventure racers.
