Eddie Bauer appointed Christopher Bevans as creative director. A member of CFDA he was recognized for his work with DYNE, earned the 2017 Woolmark Innovation Prize, was named a 2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist, he was also a senior creative lead at Shopify.
Bevans design career started in New York City as a tailor’s apprentice and subsequently the owner that parlayed into fashion designer for the Billionaire Boys Club, Head, Sean John, Yeezy, Smithsonian, New York Cosmos, and the MacArthur Foundation. From 2003 to 2007, he was a design director for Nike’s Blue Ribbon Sports Division and was a creative lead in the logo design for the Roger Federer collection. In 2013, he was named an MIT Media Lab Director’s Fellow.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Bevans moved to Portland, OR, in 2004.
