Ecco promoted Dave Quel to the position of chief operating officer of Ecco USA. Martin Klitgaard will also join Ecco USA as the new CFO and Claus Ipsen will assume a role on the Supervisory Board of Ecco USA, and become an advisor to the USA Management Board.
As COO, Quel will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Ecco USA with the exception of the finance arm, which remains the responsibility of Claus Ipsen, CFO. Dave has been instrumental throughout Ecco’s growth the past 10 years serving in many different roles including Territory Manager, National Sales Manager, VP of Sales, and now the newly created position of COO.
Tom Nelson will continue to serve as Regional Director Ecco Americas and President of Ecco USA, overseeing the U.S., Canada, Central America and the Caribbean markets.
