SOG Specialty Knives & Tools assigned Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas to  the Dunkin-Lewis Group, bringing to 16 the total number of states where the sales agency represents the brand.

Founded in 1956, the Dunkin-Lewis Group focuses on consumer sporting goods and law enforcement outlets. Its sales force is comprised of veteran manufacturer’s representatives with extensive backgrounds in all levels of sales including distributor, retail and manufacturing. Headquarters are in Birmingham, AL.

The new states served by Dunkin-Lewis on behalf of SOG as of July 1 are Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.  Earlier this year, the group took responsibility for Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

“Given the outstanding work performed in other sales territories by Dunkin-Lewis, we’re sure the expansion into four more states will result in deep and valuable relationships with additional consumers and retailers,” said Nando Zucchi, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SOG.

Duane Collins, president of Dunkin-Lewis, said his company looks forward to sparking additional growth of the SOG brand in the new territories.

“We’ve had great success in the earlier part of the year with 12 states, and I’m confident we’ll expand on that in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas,” Collins said.

Taking its name from an elite Special Forces military group from the Vietnam era – the Studies and Observation Group – SOG was founded in 1986 by designer and toolmaker Spencer Frazer. SOG has gone on to produce the favorite models of specialty knives and tools used by the military, law enforcement, industrial tradesmen and outdoor enthusiasts. SOG’s award-winning knives and tools are sold worldwide.
