Duckworth, the Montana-based wool apparel company that pioneered the proprietary “sheep to shelf” wool supply chain using source-verified, single-origin wool, manufactured 100 percent in the U.S., has appointed seasoned product development veteran Don Rogers as president.
Rogers, a lifelong wool fan, is enthusiastic about the opportunity.
“Duckworth is a unique and special company in the active lifestyle industry, and I feel my entire career path has prepared me to lead the brand to new summits,” Rogers said. “We have a top-class team, an accomplished board and an amazing partner in the Helle family, who grows the wool used exclusively in Duckworth clothing. We will continue to work together to supply our customers with world class Rambouillet Merino-based product, made in the USA.”
Rogers’ notable career began in product development with leading fashion, tactical and outdoor brands, including Benetton, Propper, Caterpillar and LL Bean. He brings strong and deep experience in product development and garment production that will allow Duckworth to continue to deliver consistently high-quality garments.
Duckworth is pleased to have an industry professional with Don Rogers’ background to help lead the company’s production forward.
