DSW announced the opening of three stores in Atlanta, GA; Dulles, VA; and Noblesville, IN. In 2008, DSW plans to open at least 30 new stores.
The Cumberland Mall store will be the 11th DSW location in Atlanta. The 15,000 square foot Dulles store will be the 14th DSW location in the Washington DC area. The 14,000 square foot store in Indiana marks the 5th DSW location in Indianapolis.
In 2007, DSW opened 37 stores in strategic markets. In 2008, DSW plans to open at least 30 new stores. DSW also plans to open an e-commerce site in spring 2008, in response to customers' requests to shop 24 hours, 7 days a week. As of April 21, DSW operated 266 stores in 37 states.
