Dr. Martens has named Paul Zadoff as president of the Americas, effective June. Zadoff is a Nike veteran who left the company in 2009 after a 19-year run in director and general manager roles across the Asia Pacific, Europe and Eastern Europe.

Over the last 16 years, Zadoff has spent a year at Patagonia, two years at Levi Strauss & Co., and six years as president of TRX Training. More recently, Zadoff was the COO at Caddis, the corrective eyewear brand

Zadoff will be based in Portland, OR, where the Dr. Martens Americas business is headquartered.

The company said Zadoff will be responsible for leading the regional team in driving the performance, growth and profitability of the Americas business for Dr. Martens. He will also be part of the company’s Global Leadership Team, reporting to Chief Executive Ije Nwokorie.

“It is a testament to the power of our brand to have someone of Paul’s caliber join our team to shape and execute our regional strategy,” commented Nwokorie. “His experience leading teams, working in partnership with wholesale customers, building omni-channel businesses and driving growth at some of the world’s most recognizable brands will be hugely valuable,” Nwokorie continued. “I look forward to working with Paul and have no doubt he will help to take our Americas business to another level.”
