Dr. Martens promoted Darren McKoy to global product category director. Previously, McCoy was global product director.
Before working for Dr Martens, McCoy was category manager at Asics Tiger and Onitsuka Tiger between 2012 and 2015. McCoy has also worked at The North Face as its product manager in the EMEA between 2010 and 2012 and at Adidas Originals as a global product manager between 2008 and 2010.
McKoy said, “It’s truly an honor to be in this position and be surrounded by like-minded people who have a personal connection to Docs. Taking on this new role has been quite a seamless transition because we have such talented designers and creatives. My responsibility, and it’s a massive responsibility, is to continue the custodian mindset that has got us to where we are today.”
