Dometic is excited to announce the winner of the trail clean-up contest the company has been running on social media in partnership with Tread Lightly.

Dometic, which is dedicated to helping more people live the mobile, adventurous lifestyle, partnered with Tread Lightly in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of clean trails for the safety of those who use them and the sustainability of the environment.

Dometic has challenged off-roaders, overlanders, outdoor enthusiasts and everyone in-between to take care of the trails they use and clean up after those who haven’t.

Dometic started the 25,0000 Clean Miles campaign in June and has requested that when cleaning up trash people take to social media and post how many miles they covered and encourage others to clean up their trails too.

Chris, an outdoorsman and family man, has been selected as the winner of the first Instagram contest, #25000CleanMilesContest. Dometic is proud of his and his family’s enthusiasm for the outdoors and keeping the Earth safe and clean.

While the first contest is ending, the fun is not over yet. There is still two more months to be entered to win a Dometic CFX and contribute to the 25,000 Clean Miles Campaign.

Starting November 1, Dometic is challenging everyone to take out what they bring in, leaving no scraps behind. To be entered to win, simply post a photo with your trash on Instagram or Facebook using #CleanTrailsOnly with the total amount of trail miles covered without littering.

Dometic wants everyone who enjoys the outdoors to be empowered to join in this effort at any time. Walking your dog? Pick up trash along the way. Anytime you are outside and see trash or have trash, be sure to keep it off the ground to keep the Earth clean and sustainable for many years to come.
