Jones Apparel Group Inc. named Cynthia DiPietrantonio as chief
operations officer, succeeding Wesley Card, who served as COO and chief
financial officer before being promoted to president and CEO last week.
DiPietrantonio will be responsible for Jones Apparel's operations
group, including customer service, allocations, distribution and
management information systems.
She previously served as executive vice president of customer relations and corporate credit and will now report to Card.
Jones Apparel also promoted Norman Viet to executive vice president of
management information services. He previously served as senior vice
president of management information services.
Viet will report to DiPietrantonio.
