Dick’s Sporting Goods set grand opening festivities for stores to open in Columbus, MS and Stockton, CA. Both officially open on Sept. 19.
The Columbus will be its 6th store in Mississippi and 580th store
nationwide. It’s located at University Mall in Columbus, MS (2041 U.S.
45). The Stockton is the company’s 35th store in California and 581st store
nationwide. It’s located at Sherwood Mall in Stockton, CA (5354 Pacific
Avenue).
At both locations, the three-day grand opening celebration will run through
Sunday, Sept. 21. At the Columbus store, former NFL wide receiver and Mississippi State
University alumni Eric Moulds will make an in-store appearance from
12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. At the Stanton location, former Oakland Athletics player Vida Blue* will make an in-store
appearance from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
At both openings, the first 100 people on Friday in
line will be eligible for a free Reebok Play Dry T-Shirt. Guests who are
in line at 7:45 a.m. on Friday will also get a chance to open the
Dick’s Sporting Goods Gift Locker. Saturday and Sunday giveaways
include a free Mystery Gift Card from $5 to $500 for the first 100
adults in line. Guests who are in line at 7:45 a.m. Saturday and 8:45
a.m. on Sunday will also get a chance to open the Dick’s Sporting Goods
Gift Locker.
