Dick's Sporting Goods has renewed as title sponsor of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open through 2012 on the Champions Tour. This year's event is scheduled for June 26-28 at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, N.Y. Jeffrey R. Hennion, executive vice president and chief marketing
officer at Dick's Sporting Goods. “As a title sponsor of the Dick's
Sporting Goods Open, we are proud to help support local charities while
providing economic impact in the community where our company was
originally founded.”

Said Mike Stevens, president of the Champions Tour: “Today's
announcement comes on the heels of other recent title sponsors
extensions with such events as our Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf event
in Savannah, Ga., and bodes well not only for the value of the
Champions Tour product, but benefits local communities through
charitable contributions.”

Players currently committed to participate in this year's tournament
include, World Golf Hall of Fame members Hale Irwin and Nick Price plus
Joey Sindelar, John Cook, Jeff Sluman, Andy Bean and Fuzzy Zoeller.
