Dick’s Sporting Goods said that as of March 17 it will be closing 10 stores and reducing daily hours across the chain due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The retailer said on a brief statement on its website, “Starting March 17, Dick’s Sporting Goods store closures and revised store hours will go into effect and may continue to change throughout the duration of the COVID-19 outbreak.”
The revised store hours include:
- Monday-Friday | 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday | 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday | 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Dick’s normal hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The store closures include eight in Pennsylvania:
- 98 Willow Grove, Willow Grove, PA
- 310 Collegeville PA, Collegeville, PA
- 341 Montgomeryville, North Wales, PA
- 1110 King of Prussia, King of Prussia, PA
- 1373 Plymouth Meeting (Relo 99), Plymouth Meeting, PA
- 81 Oxford Valley, Fairless Hills, PA
- 83 Exton, Downingtown, PA
- 229 Pottstown, Pottstown, PA
The other two locations are 1264 Independence, Independence MO and 119 Merriam, Merriam, KS. The stores are already closed, and it’s uncertain whether the stores are temporarily or permanently closed.
