Dick’s Sporting Goods will expand its nationwide footprint with the grand opening of its first Public Lands store in Pittsburgh, PA on September 24-26. The store is located at 1000 Cranberry Square Drive, Suite D, Cranberry Township, PA.
The retailer also announced it had opened its off-price concept store, Going, Going, Gone!, on September 1 at Southern Palm Crossing, 11061 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, FL.
Combined, the stores will hire approximately 120 employees (full-time, part-time and temporary).
Public Lands will carry a premium assortment of outdoor and lifestyle apparel, footwear and equipment brands and support the local outdoor community through conservation, access and equity-based initiatives.
Located approximately 20 miles north of Pittsburgh, the 50,000 square-foot Public Land’s store will feature a 30-foot rock wall, an in-store gear repair and rental department and specialized shops for biking, camping, fishing, paddling, skiing, climbing, running, and hiking. The store will offer an elevated customer service experience, with one percent of all sales going back to local and national conservation efforts.
