Dickies reported making two leadership appointments and one internal promotion to its product leadership team. The company said the “experienced crew will build and drive Dickies’ product strategy across the globe while keeping pace with Dickies’ consumers.”

The hires and promotion at Dickies come on the heels of the retailer’s early April announcement that saw Todd Dalhausser, previously president of VF Corp.’s Altra footwear brand, named as its new president.

Dabney Lee joined Dickies as VP chief product & merchandising officer (Global Dickies). She joins the brand from Vans, another VF Corp. brand, where she previously was the VP and managing director for Vans APAC region and held leadership positions across the company, evolving its footwear and apparel business globally during her 18 years with the company. At Dickies, Lee leads global product strategy, delivering growth objectives across merchandising, product and design.

Ryan Case was named VP of work product (Global Dickies), joining the brand from HeyDude, which Crocs, Inc now owns. With deep experience across footwear, apparel and accessories ranging from lifestyle to performance at global brands, including Converse, Adidas, Puma, and Crocs, Dickies said that Ryan is a true veteran in the product industry, bringing an extensive background in strategic leadership and execution across all creation functions, merchandising, brand marketing, and planning functions.

Matt Ting was promoted to VP of work inspired product (Global Dickies). Ting has played a vital role in leading the retailer’s work-inspired product team and building a cohesive product assortment that has elevated the traditional workwear brand to a globally recognized lifestyle brand. With previous roles at Adidas and Reebok, Ting continues to bring his expertise in the lifestyle space, experience of navigating and implementing new initiatives and his passion for serving the consumer to his newly appointed role.
