Dickies appointed Denise Anderson as the brand’s new VP of global marketing.

With over 20 years of experience in marketing, Anderson joins the company from VF Corp.’s sister-brand Smartwool, where she has spent the last nine years working across various marketing and creative roles, including leading global brand marketing and creative design for the last four years.

In her most recent role, Anderson reportedly was a catalyst in helping the Smartwool brand “grow and evolve its approach to consumer communications leading through the lens of purpose, values, and vision and transforming the marketing and creative team structure to be better integrated into the organization.”

Before Smartwool, Anderson was marketing director at direct-to-consumer outdoor and fitness brand GoLite for four years. She worked in her previous role with Peak Pilates as marketing director for eight years.

Through her passion for creating authentic and meaningful consumer connections, the company said “she is excited to bring her wealth of knowledge to the team at Dickies to further resonate with our community.”

Anderson lives with her family in Steamboat Springs, CO but will reportedly spend a significant amount of time at Dickies headquarters in Ft. Worth, TX.
