Dickies, owned by VF Corp., appointed Doug Thielen as senior director, brand and product marketing global, effective July 25.
Thielen worked with Sarah Crockett, global chief marketing officer at Dickies, while working at REI before moving over to Filson as marketing director.
Dickies said, “His bread and butter is building brands through creating integrated marketing campaigns with deep roots in social and offline experiences that bring brands to life to create community. With an educational background supported by ample real-world experience, Doug is a true marketer ready to roll up his sleeves to lead the entire integrated brand and marketing strategy across all avenues to drive brand awareness and revenue for Dickies.”
