Deuter announced Rich Murray has been appointed Bike Sales Manager for the U.S. market. Murray will now be responsible for all aspects of Deuter’s domestic bike accessory, packs and hydration sales. He begins the job with a strong mandate to provide the best hydration and bike accessory bags on the market and backing it up with superior retail customer service and support.

“As our sales in the bike market continue to evolve, focus on our bike sales representatives and retailers is increasingly important role in our success,” noted Patry Loomis, president of Deuter USA. “The bike accessory and hydration market is becoming more competitive and consumers are more demanding in their need for quality product at reasonable prices.”

Murray brings strong retail sales, customer service and sales skills to the position. Most recently, Murray worked for IKON Office Solutions (a Fortune 500 company focused on document management software and hardware) as an account executive. He was also employed by Lowe Alpine in customer service, and acted as an in-house sales rep for the Texas and Rocky Mountain Territories. Murray served as a sales associate with Lombardi Sports in San Francisco, where he worked the retail floor in backpacking, camping, skiing, climbing and cycling. Murray graduated from California State University at Chico in 1996, with a degree in Commercial Recreation Administration and Outdoor Education.
