Descente Ltd, the Japanese apparel company, reported sales reached ¥36.7 billion ($413.2 mm) for the six months ended Sept. 30, or essentially flat with the same period a year ago. Operating income declined 1.3% to ¥1.65 billion ($18.5 mm) while net income fell 25.7% to ¥1.31 billion ($14.8 mm).


In Japan, Descente distributes its own brand as well as Le Coq Sportif, Arena, Umbro and Babolai among others. It’s outdoor brand include Descente, A-Seven, Marmot and Whole Earth while it’s golf brands including Munsingwear, Cutter & Buck and Courreges.


It distributes Descente in North America and Europe and does business in China, Korea and Southeast Asia.
