Delta Waterfowl, the leading conservation group working to produce ducks and secure the future of waterfowl hunting in North America,  announced Frank Andrade as its new regional director for California.

In this role, Andrade will oversee the organization’s existing chapters and work to establish new ones across the state. He will focus on organizing fundraising events that support Delta’s mission of producing ducks and securing the future of waterfowl hunting in North America.

A native of central California, Andrade began volunteering with Delta in 2018 after connecting with the area’s regional director. He has since served as chairman of the Grasslands Chapter in Gustine, CA, where he helped lead local events and community outreach.

In this new role, Andrade is eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals across California who share a passion for conserving wetlands, supporting waterfowl and advancing duck hunting traditions.

“I am incredibly excited and honored to be Delta Waterfowl’s regional director for California and to work with all of our great volunteers,” said Andrade. “I have practically based my entire life on ducks and duck hunting. Now, having been given the opportunity to give back to what I love is an absolute thrill to me. I look forward to the future of Delta Waterfowl in California and the endless possibilities that come along with the region.”

Andrade holds a BS in Agricultural Business from California State University—Fresno. When waterfowl seasons are open, he hunts mainly on marshes or rivers and the occasional field.

“Frank has been an active volunteer with the Grasslands California Chapter since 2018, and he brings valuable hands-on experience to his new role supporting chapters statewide,” said Brian Moyse, Delta’s director of events, North team. “As a lifelong waterfowler, Frank is deeply committed to supporting both waterfowl hunters and conservation efforts. I’m enthusiastic about all that he and our volunteers will accomplish in the years ahead.”
