Delta Apparel, Inc. announced Elisa Palefsky joined the company as vice president of sales for its M. J. Soffe operating subsidiary headquartered in Fayetteville, NC. Ms. Palefsky has teamed up with Soffe to provide her style of proven leadership in the management of the companys three sales divisions: sporting goods, department stores, and military.
Palefsky comes to Soffe with over 20 years of successful leadership in the branded and licensed merchandise industry. Her former business associations include SPANX and The Coca-Cola Company building strong selling relationships with major retailers. During her tenure with these companies, Palefsky successfully provided multi-functional direction to global sales and marketing teams, strategic business planning, brand and business development.
Rod McGeachy, president of M.J. Soffe, commented, We are excited that Elisa made the decision to join our executive management team, bringing a wealth of apparel and related experience to Soffe. Elisa will be instrumental in spurring Soffes future growth, as we continue to develop our brands and grow our apparel market base.
