Courtney Delmore & Trevor Delmore, who are credited with developing and launching the footwear strategy for FUBU in the U.S., have joined the Tommy Hilfiger Footwear team and will handle sales in the Northeast Corridor from New Jersey through New England.

The brothers were responsible for landing the FUBU footwear collection in the major urban markets in the U.S. After a thorough review of Hilfiger’s current line and future direction, Courtney and Delmore felt the time was right to jump in with both feet and put their energy behind the growing footwear brand.

“We are excited to have the Delmore Brothers enthusiasm and experience on board driving the Tommy Hilfiger Footwear initiative,” said Bob Mullaney National Sales Director for Tommy Hilfiger Footwear, Inc. ” The Northeast is obviously one of the most critical regions in the U.S. , and Courtney and Trevor know the territory well.”

Will Dugan has also joined the Tommy Hilfiger Footwear team and will handle the Upper Midwest sales territory that includes Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota. Will comes to Tommy Hilfiger from Nike Golf where he had great success developing a business in an untapped area. Prior to Nike, Will worked at Reebok.

These are exciting times for Tommy Hilfiger Footwear. The Spring 2003 product is selling at retail, the Back to School 2003 and Fall 2003 product lines are the best yet. A “product as hero” national advertising campaign just hit the newsstands. Business in Independent Specialty Distribution has grown significantly. The consumer’s response to Tommy Hilfiger as a Footwear Brand has been overwhelmingly positive.

“In the past year one of the strongest brands in the world with over 90% recognition, is quietly becoming a significant resource in the footwear industry. The sales resources administering to the Independent Specialty business has grown multifold,” said Mullaney.

The Tommy Hilfiger line is comprised of men’s and women’s footwear that range from classic athletic styles to youthful fashion footwear that deliver fabulous styles season after season. The signature Tommy Hilfiger logo and the prominent red, white and blue colors on the designs remain true to the all-American heritage.
