The National Golf Federation reported that same-store rounds played in the U.S. were down 8.1% for December 2005 versus the same month last year. The estimate is based on data from operators at 1,573 golf facilities. The decrease for the month was enough to bring the year-to-date total just below the break-even line at -0.1% for the year.
