Writer: Carly Terwilliger With an eye toward families who adventure together outdoors, Kelty will be rolling out redesigned child carriers at the 2017 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. “With today’s overscheduled kids and families, we want to make it as easy as possible to enjoy outdoor adventures whether they are in a neighborhood park, on a favorite local trail or in the backcountry,” said Eric Greene, division vice president/GM of Kelty.
Kelty’s Journey PerfectFit child carrier was developed by a team of parents and was researched with parent input, resulting in a child carrier with a locking aluminum roll cage inspired by those used in utility vehicles, providing full protection in the event of a fall. The carrier uses Kelty’s proprietary suspension for fit adjustments on the go. It comes in three styles, but the most snazzy is the Journey PerfectFit Elite, which boasts increased organization and an integrated sunshade.
