Jon Epstein, President and CEO of Sport Brands International (SBI), the new parent company of Fila, Ciesse Piumini and Enyce, has named Evan Davis President of Enyce, one of the country’s leading men’s and women’s urban sportswear brands.

In his new role, Mr. Davis will oversee all aspects of Enyce’s and Lady Enyce’s operation including product design and development, sales and marketing.

Mr, Davis, 39, joined Enyce after serving as national sales manager and chief merchandiser for Mecca USA, one of the pioneers in young men’s urban sportswear whose origins were in America’s hip-hop culture.

Using his experience there, Mr. Davis and his partners Tony Shelman and Lando Felix created Enyce, which represents the phonetic spelling of New York City, the world’s epicenter of fashion and culture and a continuing source of inspiration for the brand’s apparel collections.

In making the announcement, Jon Epstein, SBI President said, “Evan Davis and the Enyce team have done a remarkable job of developing the brand into a highly successful and profitable business since its inception. The brand is renowned among America’s sportswear retailers and young consumers as always being at the forefront of style and design. We are confident that as President of Enyce, Evan and his team will take the brand to new heights in the category.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Mr. Davis currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children. He will continue to be based in New York City, the current headquarters for Enyce.
