Darn Tough Vermont has appointed Chad DeJong as director of quality and continuous improvement.

As a brand known for its maniacal attention to detail, DeJong’s role will translate to the experience of each end user. DeJong will be responsible for furthering quality management systems that implement and uphold Darn Tough’s commitment to making the most comfortable, durable, and best fitting performance socks.

“With each key hire, we are making an investment in the infrastructure of a fast growing brand that won’t make a single sacrifice in quality or production,” said Brett Blevins, general manager of operations at Darn Tough. “Chad will help improve the processes and tools needed to provide quality at a level that exceeds our customers’ expectations, while having the ability to serve a larger number of customers and expand our reach and production beyond existing capability.”

DeJong joins Darn Tough with experience with brands including Keurig Green Mountain and Intel, and holds degrees from the University of Michigan (BS) and Georgia Tech (MS). His experience encompasses extensive collaboration, analyses and project management across teams, departments, facilities and countries.
