In late July, West Grove, PA-based Dansko moved into its new “green” offices. The 80,000-square-foot, environmentally friendly headquarters boasts a vegetated roof that reduces energy consumption and minimizes rainwater runoff; smart lighting and solar shades; terrazzo flooring made with recycled glass; and a “living wall” in the atrium that filters the air. The facility houses sales, marketing, product development, and finance functions, as well as a 7,000-square-foot retail outlet center. The company, known for its clogs and comfort footwear, employs 130 people.
