CzechPoint, importer of the VZ 58 rifle, the VZ 61 pistol, and other Czech-produced small arms, based in Knoxville, TN, announces that industry veteran Dave Biggers has joined the company as national sales manager.
“I am extremely pleased to be joining CzechPoint, a company with a solid reputation for manufacturing,” said Biggers. “The VZ 58 and VZ 61 are popular Czech firearms that many in the U.S. are only passingly familiar with. I look forward to working closely with retailers and wholesalers to expand the CzechPoint brand.”
With over 25 years in the firearms industry, Biggers has worked in various sales, marketing and training positions, playing a vital role in bringing well-known products to market. His background includes experience as an Airborne Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, a competitive shooter and an avid hunter.
The CzechPoint VZ 58 became popular as a weapon of the Cold War. Disappointed with the quality of the Soviet AK-47, Czechoslovakia produced its the rifle for reliability and performance.
CzechPoint line also includes magazines, ammo pouches and additional parts/accessories for its products.
