Crunch Fitness has opened its new franchise location at Florissant Marketplace in Florissant, MO, on April 30. The gym occupies a 39,900-square-foot space. The private equity commercial real estate firm that owns the center said Crunch Fitness “enhances the property’s appeal, strengthening its position within the local market.”
“Crunch Fitness brings a wellness-focused use to the center that supports both shopper convenience and consistent daily visits. With a diverse mix of essential retailers, including Schnucks, Pet Supplies Plus, Wingstop, and AT&T, Florissant Marketplace continues to evolve as a dynamic, service-oriented shopping center,” said First National Realty Partners (FNRP) in a media release.
“We believe the addition of Crunch Fitness is a strong signal of the demand we’re seeing from retailers who want to be part of a well-located, necessity-based center,” said Fred Battisti, chief revenue officer, FNRP. “Their presence enhances Florissant Marketplace’s offerings and supports our business plan aimed at long-term value creation for our tenants and the community.”
The new $5 million Crunch Florissant will be managed by the locally owned and operated Crunch Fitness franchisee, The Undefeated Tribe. The new gym will be in a former Gold’s Gym.
Founded in 2018 by Tony Hartl, The Undefeated Tribe operates 27 gyms across Texas and Oklahoma, and it plans to open 15 new facilities in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri in 2025.
